Job Opening: Tailwheel Instructor
Mike Goulian Aviation is a world-class aviation company specializing in flight training, aircraft sales, service, and fleet management. With premier facilities in Bedford (KBED) and Plymouth (KPYM), we offer a dynamic, professional environment for aviators who want more than a typical instructing role.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Tailwheel Flight Instructor / Husky Sales Associate to join our elite team at our KPYM location. This position supports our growing tailwheel and backcountry training programs and our role as both a Platinum Cirrus Training Center and a Husky Factory Training Center.
This is not your standard CFI position.
As an MGAV Tailwheel Instructor, you’ll combine high-level instruction with true aviation adventure. You’ll deliver exceptional, personalized training to Husky owners, guide backcountry aviation trips across some of the most breathtaking terrain in North America, and help clients unlock the full potential of their aircraft—all while flying brand-new Aviat Husky aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver world-class tailwheel and backcountry flight training
- Plan and lead backcountry aviation adventure trips
- Train new Husky owners in their aircraft, emphasizing safe and effective real-world operations
- Manage and support Husky aircraft sales, working directly with the Aviat factory on qualified leads
- Provide an exceptional customer experience that reflects MGAV’s commitment to excellence
Who We’re Looking For
- An experienced tailwheel instructor with a deep passion for general aviation
- A professional who thrives in a high-performance, team-oriented environment
- Someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats—educator, mentor, ambassador, and aviation advocate
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow alongside a premier aviation brand
If you’re energized by adventure flying, inspired by working with top-tier professionals, and motivated to deliver an unmatched client experience, Mike Goulian Aviation offers a rare opportunity to build a career—not just log hours.
