There are a few nuances to operating the turbo – and combined with the new features of the G7 avionics – this is a very potent cross-country machine, easily capable of cruising above 12,000 feet. We will go into greater depth than the standard engine management course, teaching operation must-do’s, tips and even cover some maintenance basics to deliver a learning experience that is beyond what you will find in the book. Taught by Michael Goulian and our Director of Maintenance, Levi Fischer.

We are very excited to welcome our new CFII Adam Derrouche to the team!
Adam was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Both his parents immigrated here; his mother from Italy and his father from Algeria. His passion for aviation began at a young age, inspired by his parents’ work in the airline industry, which allowed the family to travel and visit relatives overseas. Through those early experiences, he caught the “aviation bug” so to speak and set his sights on a future in flight.
Proudly, Adam is the first pilot in his family. He began his academic journey studying mathematics at the University of Arizona before transferring to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics. He continued his education there, completing a Master of Science in Aeronautics as well.
Adam earned all of his flight ratings at a Part 61 flight school in Tucson, Arizona, and currently holds a CFII certificate. He has been working as a flight instructor for approximately two years and finds great fulfillment in training the next generation of pilots, both young and old. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue instructing while ultimately pursuing a career flying for an airline or a corporate jet company.
