Michael Goulian

Mike Goulian, a professional pilot with 10,000+ hours of flying, has been a flight school owner & operator for more than 30 years.He has been performing at airshows since 1992, is a Designated Pilot Examiner and avid advocate for pilot safety. Gordon Landale

Gordon is a Mass native, inspired to fly at an early age by his father and brothers. Upon retiring from 25 years of service in the Army’s Special Forces, he turned his love of flying into a professional flight instructor career. As a Master Flight Instructor, Gordon has more than 2,000 hours of flight time and 1,200 of instruction given. Passionate about safety and a FAA Safety Team (FAAST) volunteer representative.

Eloisa holds a Master’s in Advertising from Boston University and has two years of experience with WBUR Business Partnerships, where she honed her skills in storytelling, collaboration, and strategic communications. Her creative talents span photography, poetry, short films, mixed media arts.

Kyle Fan-Chan

Kyle grew up in Bedford, MA, 10 minutes from Hanscom AFB. His passion for aviation started with family trips to England, and was deepened with his interest in warbirds. For his 13th birthday, his family scheduled an intro flight out of Beverly airport. He started his training in high school out of Hanscom, and continued training with Bridgewater State University. He is currently working on his instructor (CFI) rating.

Karin Goulian

Karin Goulian grew up in NY State working for her family manufacturing business for two decades prior to diving into the aviation industry. A graduate of Lehigh University in economics. She is an instrument rated pilot and loves spending time with customers, flying with her husband, Michael, and helping create a place where Cirrus and tailwheel pilots can thrive.

Marc Derose

Marc DeRose

Marc has had a lifelong passion for aviation and instructing. Prior to becoming a professional pilot, Marc coached several Division 1 NCAA College Rowing programs around the country including UMass and Columbia. Before joining our team, Marc was a flight instructor at Cirrus Aircraft in Knoxville.

Nina Gorina

Finance Administrator
Nina, a marketing professional with a rich history of global travel, moved to the US in 2022. She joined Mike Goulian Aviation in March of 2023. Currently a Private Pilot, Nina’s aspiration is to transition into commercial piloting with Med Flight. She has already begun to realize this dream, continuing to work on her instrument rating.

Sean Brodeur

Sean’s 14,000+ hours in the air and 12,000+ hours of flight instructing make him a highly valued and sought after CSIP. Sean has over 2,000 hours in Cirrus aircraft alone. Sean’s calm and unassuming approach to flying with his customers allows his clients to fly relaxed, knowing there is a professional next to them to guide their way while learning to fly.

Ben Acker

Ben joined the MGAV team at the beginning of 2022. Prior to working at Mike Goulian Aviation, he was the Flight Support Team Lead at Magellan Jets. Prior to working at Magellan, Ben graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2015 with a degree in Aviation Management. After graduating from BSU, Ben returned to his home state of Maine and worked as a scenic tour and aerial photography pilot in Bar Harbor.

Jonah Burnham

Living close to Hanscom AFB, Jonah heard aircraft operating out of the airfield since his childhood. From a young age, Jonah has had a passion for things with engines. Starting with motorcycles and cars, now moving to aircraft. His interest in aviation began with flights he took to Nantucket to visit family. Jonah has his Bachelors degree in Analytics & Operation and MBA in Finance.

Levi Fischer

Levi joined the Goulian team in 2017 as our Crew Chief for our airshow team (www.mikegoulian.com) that travels the US throughout the year. Adding Levi to the Mike Goulian Aviation team shortly after was a natural fit for him and we have not looked back. Hailing from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, he was the factory assembly specialist at Sonex Aircraft. He has taken the Cirrus factory training and takes great care of our entire Cirrus fleet.

Ethan Bowen

Ethan has always been fascinated by how things work, spending his childhood tinkering and taking apart anything he could get his hands on. His passion for mechanics led him to the National Aviation Academy, where he trained to become an aircraft mechanic. While in school, he worked at Mike Goulian Aviation in Bedford, MA, gaining hands-on experience and developing a strong appreciation for the company’s work culture.

Collin joined the Mike Goulian Aviation team in 2021 after spending the last four years maintaining and retrofitting older Cirrus’. He began in aviation at the age of 15 by taking flight lessons at Plymouth airport. He earned his license at 18 and decided to conjoin his love of flying and maintenance. He graduated from the first class at Cape Cod Community College. He got his Inspection Authorization (IA) in the fall of 2020 and recently achieved his Instrument Rating.

Jed’s interest in aviation started at age 12 with a ride in a Waco biplane around the Cape. He attended Upper Cape Tech and throughout high school, he worked as a mechanic on boats and power equipment. After graduating, he attended Universal Tech in Norwood and worked as a technician at a Cadillac dealership, eventually moving back to the Cape after graduating. He spent the next 6 years at Jeep dealerships, the last 3 as a service manager.

Andrew Barr

Andrew was born and raised in Cambridge Massachusetts. When he was 13, he started his career in golf and would later become a golf instructor. He would also teach freestyle skiing, and test and review ski boots with “America’s Best Boot Fitters”. 20 years later the opportunity to join the aviation world as a pilot presented itself and he has never looked back.

Ryan has been flying since he was 17 years old. From Kingston Mass, he attended the Metropolitan State University of Denver to study Aviation and Aerospace Science where he was the captain of the MSU Denver Aerobatic Flight Team. In Denver, Ryan worked as a CFII where he specialized in UPRT, tailwheel training, and mountain flying while also training students toward their private and commercial ratings. s as the Extra 330SC ferry pilot.

In 2019, I moved from Australia to Oregon to begin helicopter flight training, eventually earning my Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate. I then took a position at Norwood Airport for several years. Seeking new challenges, I transitioned to fixed-wing aviation, returning to Oregon to study and work as a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) at a local flight school. After gaining further experience, I relocated back to Massachusetts to continue advancing my aviation career.

A Filipino-American born in Singapore, he moved to Massachusetts at age 10 and later attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he played Division I lacrosse and earned a degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, Patrick chose to follow his lifelong dream of becoming a pilot.

My name is Adam and I’m born and raised from Boston, Massachusetts. My mother came from Italy and my father from Algeria. I caught the bug of Aviation from since I was a kid. I went to the University of Arizona studying mathematics and eventually transferred to Embury Riddle aeronautical university graduating with a bachelors of science in aeronautics I then rolled into my masters and finish my masters of science in aeronautics.

Lex has been flight instructing since the age of 18. Lex is an FAA Gold Seal Flight Instructor, a Designated Pilot Examiner, has flown charter, for a commuter airline, is an active Angel Flight pilot. As a Cirrus owner he enjoys helping others take advantage of the Cirrus Life.

An early interest evolved into a lifelong dedication to aviation. Kevin proudly served for six years in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, Kevin attended the aviation program at Utah Valley University, where he studied Aeronautical Science. Kevin specializes in flying Cirrus Aircraft with over 1000 hours in the SR Product line.

He graduated from The Ohio State University’s College of Engineering with a degree in Aviation and a minor in Real Estate. During an internship with NetJets, he gained invaluable experience in international flight operations. As a board member of the Massachusetts Business Aviation Association (MBAA), Nathan is an active advocate for general aviation in the state.
