Job Opening: Customer Service & Operations Support Specialist – Bedford, MA

Mike Goulian Aviation (MGAV) is seeking a Customer Service and Operations Support Specialist to work at our Hanscom Field location in Bedford MA.

MGAV clients fly the best selling piston engine aircraft built today, the Cirrus. Our instructors provide a tailored training experience focused on mentorship, aircraft transitions, recurrent proficiency, Private, Instrument, and Commercial ratings, and advanced airmanship.

The Meat and Potatoes

This isn’t a “sit behind a desk and wait for the phone to ring” kind of job. It is an extremely hands-on, face-to-face role where you are the face of the company for our most important assets: our clients. This role combines customer service with logistics support. You will deliver a white-glove experience while ensuring seamless execution of daily flight operations. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires superb teamwork, communication, and work ethic. Candidates are expected to demonstrate independence, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn about personal aviation.

As Customer Service and Operations Support Specialist, you will:

• Schedule and coordinate flights with our clients and pilots.
• Actively flight-follow our fleet and greet them upon return.
• Maintain records of flights by airplane and client activity.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and presentation.
• Aircraft ground operations including towing, cleaning, updates, and fuel coordination.
• Facility upkeep: maintain a clean, organized, and professional office and client environment.
• Manage client communications including initial inquiries, in-person visits, scheduling, dispatching, and billing.

The Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to meet airport background check requirements for a security badge.
• Ability to exercise good judgement.
• Preferred: Aviation background such as a pilot rating or previous in-industry experience.

The Logistics:

• Combination of office, hangar, and ramp operations
• Hands-on role including outdoor work and aircraft handling
• Company uniform provided

Compensation begins at $18 per hour and will increase upon successful completion and transition into the role.
